My name is David Briggs, and I am the Minster of Etherley, Hamsterley, Windmill and Witton Park chapels.
I am married and have three children and four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Before coming into ministry I have driven a truck, delivered sandwiches, managed shoe shops and run my own cheese wholesale and retail business.
Until recently I was a biker, riding my Yamaha XV 750 around the country, a member of the Christian Bikers Association, however, after the sale of my bike am now restricted to a prayerful supporter.
I have seen and experienced good and bad in life with many ups and downs, but have a great desire to share the gospel of Jesus in a real sense.
I think debt is a real scourge of modern society and as a trained Money Coach for the charity Christians against Poverty look to sharing a gospel that is meaningful and radical in a social sense, as well as a deeply spiritual meaning to my and I pray others lives.
